S51DX station
« on: October 09, 2021, 1930 UTC »
I was just curious if others are working S51DX on the daily. This station is always booming into Florida for the past 4 weeks (20M SSB) Reminds me of when CO8LY was active. We always did a quick CW exchange on 30M most evenings.

S51DX (Janez) is a regular on 20m and 17m. I work him a few times a year, usually when his signal is booming into my QTH. His QRZ page said he has made over 500,000 QSO's.
Location: Western New York ( Niagara Frontier)
Radio :TS480 with RTL-SDR pan-adapter, HDSDR, Omni-Rig Control, Zenith T/O R600,T600
Antenna: 40m dipole, 20-17-15 meter fan dipole. One of N. Tesla's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.
eQSL appreciated

Yeah. He's been booming in here to Florida every day for about 4 weeks. CW and SSB. I've also worked him on 17 as you mentioned.
