RCCI (Relay) 6924.9 AM 1705 UTC 25 NOV 2021
« on: November 25, 2021, 1707 UTC »
A good signal, about 5 kHz wide, S7/9, and fairly stable here. Fading and noise affecting readability at times.

1707 OM "Sit back and relax" followed by RCCI ident ("The Fun One") then Reba McEntire and some kind of mashup.
1712 Stand-up comedy hard to hear, sounds like Rodney Dangerfield
1714 Parody commercial for remake of "The Fly" (1986) followed by "The Old Sow Song," Cyril Smith
1719 Another "RCCI, Radio Comedy Club International" ident followed by a Star Trek mashup and another parody
1723 "Betsy Ross And The Flag," Stan Freberg
1726 RCCI ident x2 (first one voiced by Commander Bunny) then Steven Wright stand-up comedy
1730 "I'm A Nut," Leroy Pullins
1732 RCCI ident x2, solicits loggings to A*C*E
1733 "None But The Lonely Heart," Spike Jones and his City Slickers
1737 OFF

1712 UTC - Weak signal in WNY, audio in and out of the noise.
Location: Western New York ( Niagara Frontier)
Radio :TS480 with RTL-SDR pan-adapter, HDSDR software, Omni-Rig Control, Zenith T/O R600,T600
Antenna: 40m dipole, 20-17-15 meter fan dipole. One of N. Tesla's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.

Old RCCI show from 30+ years ago. Fair signal & not too copyable with novelty songs. One song sounded like it might be Spike Jones
