Thanks for the reminder, Chris! :)

I certainly like and often recommend the Airspy HF+ Discovery. It has performance rivaling and even exceeding many popular desktop-class receivers, yet it is priced scarcely more than many portables.

I might order a SpyVerter R2 as a small upgrade to one my RTL-SDR v3 dongles currently using inexpensive eBay NE602 convertors for HF.
