Thanks for that list SIGINT. Trying to pinpoint the signals in this mess is a pain. Sounds just like if everyone on the Citizens Band suddenly forgot how to use their radios.  ;D

Those SATCOM channels are generally designed for wide-band FM but the pirates only use approx 5 kHz of bandwidth beause they are using modified regular commercial radios. This is also why, for most times, they are not on the proper assigned uplink transponder frequency. The signal is also Right Hand Circular Polarized but people have managed to listen using a dipole or other type of antenna.
