Mid Atlantic Beacon Loggings
« Reply #120 on: March 26, 2021, 1035 UTC »
Rather than scatter my loggings in various threads I decided I'll consolidate them into one. Here is the inaugural post.

26 March 2021:
Both 4095.6 Whooper and Windy coming in this morning circa 1000-1030 UTC with weak signals. Normal telemetry from Windy.

A fair signal from the Whooper this morning circa 1045 UTC, Windy is coming in as well, but weaker.

Generally the sky loop. Although the 58 ft T2FD does surprisingly well also (better than the 120 ft T2FD for these beacons) I think because it is mounted nearly vertically.

1024 UTC: Weak signals from the Whooper and Windy.

1342: Finally, I am hearing the new Hiker beacon! I parked the netSDR & 900 ft horizontal sky loop on 8005 all morning, hoping to find the time slot when there is propagation between there and here.
