Hey Erik,

Nice catch.

I had a pair of Iowa stations I wanted to log this winter : KXEL and KCJJ.

I copied KCJJ "good"  ("at times") last night :).

KXEL may be more problematic here. I am working on a new home brew  loop that (in initial mock up tests) seems to have a fair amount more kick than the Select-A-Tenna.I may wait for it to be  fully ready before I go   for KXEL (outside, in the RF quiet dog park). 'XEL may need all the help it can get.

We   ("probably") still have around 2 months  (or more) before increasing  daylight  begins to  very gradually  shift the band toward Spring conditions . Hopefully the Solar cycle will also pep  up a bit more before Spring as well .

NQC,
Thanks. Yeah, I'm really liking this little Tecsun PL-990 for MW dxing, just kicked back in the living room recliner. I'm sure there's plenty of luck involved but it does pretty good.

Happy hunting & Good luck.
