Emphasis on cheap. What wx gizmos do you use? Any cheap and reliable sets out there?

Well, first you need to specify the value of "cheap". I have an earlier version of an AcuRite 5-in-1 Weather Station without the colour display. Similar to this unit: https://www.acurite.com/shop-all/weather-instruments/weather-stations/pro-5-in-1-weather-station-with-color-display-weather-ticker-wind-and-rain.html?ref=name

Not exactly "cheap" but you know what, at the end of the day the unit works like a charm and I don't have to fiddle or fight with it. You get what you pay for.

Look at this AcuRite Iris system. It's a thing of beauty and they are all on sale!

If you want a good and relatively affordable all in one (temp, humidity, wind, rainfall, solar / UV) weather station, I have and like the units from Ambient Weather. Their systems also automatically upload your data to their website and Weather Underground, if you wish.
