UNID 4625 USB 2236 UTC 27 Feb 2022
« on: February 27, 2022, 2239 UTC »
2236 UTC Choral singers and piano music...sounds mournful. S5 peaks here and too strong to be of European origin? The lyrics for the song with the man singing operatic style at 2243 UTC are not English.
2246 UTC End of song and applause, then silence except for some microphone sounds?
2248 UTC Another choral anthem or hymn....no musical accompaniment on this one...ending with applause
2254 UTC Another choral anthem or hymn with no instruments
2258 UTC Piano music intro to another Choral/Operatic hymn
2302 UTC Piano music (OM saying something over the music!)
2311 UTC Piano intro to another Slavic choral anthem
2314 UTC A choral hymn with no music ending in applause, then OFF?

2249 - SIO 333
2253 - Applause? Hard to tell through some steady, moderate QRN, but it swelled just there.
           Choir music continues.
2258 - Piano intro to that one.
2303 - OM speaking in EE !?! "Check check check..." Calling "CQ" "DX"  :o
2308 - SIO 343
2320 - Off? Not sure when it ended. Left the shack for a min.

Well, that was interesting. The Buzzer ain't buzzin' here.

Thanks, OP!

Very good reception

2304 Unid Eastern European choral music
2305 Tolling bells into more East European choral music
Hmmmmm......this is same frequency as UVB 76 Russian Spy The Buzzer.  I heard of recent attempts to jam them.  Perhaps a pro-Ukrainian jam?
2315 Applause after music, long pause
