Unidentified on 11 meters.  Spanish conversation between hams (?) or other operators.  I heard about 3-4 different individuals. Signal was sporatic (232) with sometimes an echo in the voices and other times a digital sequence heard.  Reception did not improve if I switched to USB/LSB. I should learn Spanish.

26.585 MHz AM is a popular frequency for Latin American truckers and freebanders, and will often be active when the band is open.  When it is really booming in, all the nearby frequencies (26.565 MHz, 26.575 MHz, 26.595 MHz, etc. will also usually be busy).

If you're hearing activity on 26.585 AM, check 26.555 LSB and 27.455 USB.  If 26.555 LSB is super busy, sometimes you'll hear other SSB activity on 26.540 LSB and other "zeros" frequencies.

12 MAR 2022, 1937 UTC, very active with multiple stations copied here in Colorado.

This is the channel I check for real 11m band openings, as the Super Bowl channel 6 (27025 AM) might be full of relatively local signals (e.g. western USA but not beyond) without going much further.
