4/12/09, 0134-0246 UTC, 6925 USB: Usual big signal and excellent audio from WTCR, with long set of R&B classics.  Opened with "Tighten Up", ended with "Loosen Up" (per my request, so apparently Dr. Morbius reads FRN logs while shows are in progress).  Overall SINPO - 42323, some fluttering fades but never to inaudible.  (N. Central TX - Palstar R30C on indoor fugloop antenna)

0134z: Archie Bell & The Drells "Tighten Up"
0139z: Arthur Conley "Sweet Soul Music"
0141z: WTCR YL voice ID
0141z: Bill Withers "Lean on Me"
0146z: "Rainy Night in Georgia"
0149z: Clyde McPhatter "Lover Please (Come Back)"
0151z: Earth, Wind & Fire "That's the Way of the World"
0157z: Aretha Franklin "Rescue Me"
0159z: WTCR ID
0203z: Marvin Gaye "Heard it Through the Grapevine"
SINPO - 42323 fluttering fades between S2-S9 but good signal

0213z: Sam Cooke "Having a Party" (other audio underneath?)
0215z: WTCR ID
0215z: Smokey Robinson & The Miracles "Tracks of My Tears" (hearing SSTV under WTCR?)
0218z: Stevie Wonder "For Once in My Life"
SINPO - 32323 slightly weaker now

0228z: WTCR ID after "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"
0228z: Righteous Bros "You've Lost That Loving Feeling"
0232z: Staple Singers "I'll Take You There"
0236z: "Standing On Shaky Ground"
0239z: "What is Hip?"
0246z: Sign-off ID
SINPO - 32323 longer fades but still continuously audible

0246z: Todd Rundgren/Nazz, "Loosen Up"  (Per my request - Dr. Morbius, you're my hero!)

(Gopher Stomp, TX - Palstar R30C on the funky soulful fugloop)
