"This is ... Radio" with echo effect on voice, said about a dozen times. Weak here, I couldn't make out what they were saying. I only heard an ID, then gone, no program.

Good signal here, about S8, ID block repeated 4X.  Very hard to understand with the FX.  Possibly something like "...Remote Control Radio"?

This looked like AM here.

Having heard the recording now, the last 2 words of the ID seem to be "Control Radio", but the "Remote" part of it seems unlikely.

It was AM but audio was so overdriven, it was compressing

s5-6 but even on USB, I was unable to get positive ID, but I might guess to have got "Remote Control Radio" 4 times

I didn't have recorder on ;(

AM signal, however best in USB.
