2257 yes, the other station talking in E, and stronger, about China

2300 the weak station lost under the stronger one

You definitly listened to WBCQ Maine. They are always 50 Hz / 54 Hz below 6160 kHz. Often causing a hum to Shortwave Radio during fall/winter/spring time. Correspondance about one year ago with Alan Weiner revealed the fact FCC allows US stations up to 50 Hz off channel. They can't do anything about it, cause the transmitter is old and the xtal oven can't be adjusted more accurate. We are only allowed max of 5 Hz off channel.
