Mix Radio Int. 12090-12095 USB 2320 UTC 25 Jun 2022
« on: June 25, 2022, 2324 UTC »
on 12090 USB           direct in Europe, own antennas at home
2320 smooth jazz, disturbed by SSB? voices, and by 12095 AM,
another music on 12090 LSB, don't know what I hear
strong talking AM station on 12085, fair-good AM station on 12095
12090 LSB is weaker  than 12090 USB
2335 main disturbance is 12095 talking in Ru (even with a narrow SSB filter)
Same problem with 3 other antennas (sorry no beam here)
2341 smooth jazz is gone

on 12095 USB
2342 ID Mix Radio Int'l (and 12095 Ru is gone)
2347 ID Best Smooth Jazz, then music, 2348 ID Mix Radio Int'l
2352 audio on LSB side is the same, thinking it's a real LSB not fully suppressed

0023 music, 0024 ID Best Smooth Jazz, piano
Exact frequency might be about 10Hz below the full kHz ?

0046 fair signal, maybe some weak UT below?,
0047 DJ, BSJ about contacts (and QSL ?)

Tuned in at 2337 utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with clear S7 signal, nice jazz tune playing, at 2341 stn adjusted freq up to 12095, at 2350 utc tuned in locally with fair S9 signal, less neighborhood noise on 12mhz compared to 7mhz, just for laughs I tuned it in on Cork Ireland sdr and it was barely audible with S5 signal, at 0020 utc tried Maui HI sdr with very weak but audible S3 signal, still S9+ locally, still on at 0215 utc, nice music, thanks,

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Below the noise with the W3HFU KiwiSDR. Good S5 with the Canary Islands KiwiSDR (signals in this range always seem to go very far with little local reception).

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

00:35 UTC - 12095.0 kHz; weak and barely readable at an S3 ~ S4;
00:37 UTC - Station ID: MRI
00:40 UTC - I just checked the University of Twente Wide-band WebSDR and the signal is making it over into Europe;
00:41 UTC - The signal level to my location has now dramatically increased to a loud and clear and about an S6;
00:44 UTC - Now an S9 to +10.
