Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

There's been a Brazilian on that frequency for couple of decades. There was a Brazilian guy who used to post on this board who confirmed it, but I can't remember the handle he used. I had xtal for 6973 and used to check that frequency when the usual Stateside frequencies were overrun. I could always hear faint music, but no id's.

The station you are probably thinking of is Lupo Radio. The guy who used to post here from Brazil was probably Daniel Wyllyans. I don’t think it could have been Lupo Radio because of 3 reasons 1. His signal way stronger than a low powered Latin American would have been in the USA, 2. There was no signal with the Caribbean Netherlands KiwiSDR, not even a carrier, 3. The station announcer spoke English

That was the guy. There was another guy in Venezuela that used to log it, too, but he dropped out of sight when the political turmoil in that country got out of hand.
