Valley Wave Int. 6266 AM 1845 UTC 23 Jul 2022
« on: July 23, 2022, 1846 UTC »
Exact frequency is 6265.90 kHz. S7 with the Northwest Ireland KiwiSDR. Some hum in the audio making understanding difficult.

UTC-News by announcers that don’t sound fluent in English
UTC-North Korean pop music (Moranbong Band)
UTC-More news, mention of Kim Jong-il
UTC-No top of the hour ID or anthem, news continues
UTC-North Korean Military Choir
UTC-Orchestral Music, cut off at 1905 UTC
UTC-Relay of a different station? ID given but voice garbled
UTC-News? Can’t understand
UTC-Club At The End Of The Street by Elton John
UTC-Blank carrier
UTC-Interval signal? Not one I recognize
UTC-Time pips, interval signal
UTC-Non-English talk, Russian?
UTC-Blank carrier
UTC-Yankee Doodle, Voice of America ID, old recording
UTC-Blank carrier
UTC-Interval signal?
UTC-Blank carrier
UTC-Interval signal
UTC-Blank carrier
UTC-Interval signal
UTC-Blank carrier

Programming is from Voice of Korea but does not match 13760/15245 kHz. Maybe a relay of a recording? No signal with the Osaka, Japan KiwiSDR. Weak with the GB3WB KiwiSDR in the UK.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.
