The famous Superstar 3900 (also known as the CRT SS3900, Superstar 3900EFT (with frequency counter), Superstar 3900F (with frequency counter), Super Jopix 2000 (with frequency counter), Voyage VR9000 (with frequency counter), Voyager VR94, Voyager VR-9000, Voyager VR-9090, Galaxy DX73, Galaxy DX77, Pearce-Simpson Super Cheetah, Ranger/RCI RCI-3900HP and dozens of other names.
These radios use the famous EPT3600 series main board or chassis. The original Superstar 3900 used the EPT3600-11B EPT360011B version, then the EPT3600-11Z EPT360011Z version, while later versions used updated iterations of the 3600 chassis, such as the EPT360014B and numerous others. The EPT3600 board is itself a clone of the Cobra 148GTL-DX 120 channel AM/FM/SSB/CW export radio. The EPT-3600 board is used as the basic PCB for dozens of other models of exports, including the Galaxy DX-series 10 meter and CB radios, among others.
