The NRD-545 is Japan Radio's latest high end HF DSP receiver. It tunes from 10 kHz to 30 MHz, and up to 2 GHz with the optional VHF/UHF converter. It is generally considered one of the finest HF radios ever made.
As of 2008, production of this receiver has stopped, apparently due to unavailability of certain components.
