Swedish 31 MHz FM. 30 MHz/31 MHz VHF low band hunting radio license-free two-way walkie-talkie hunt club radio allocation (used in conjunction with 155 MHz hunting radio allocation) in Sweden. Handheld and mobile radios used, popular with hunting clubs. FM only, 4 watts maximum power output. 40 channels available. Selective calling systems such as CTCSS tone squelch, DCS, DTMF and others are widely used - just like on other license free personal radio services on higher frequencies (VHF, UHF, etc.).

The VHF low band spectrum offers superior performance and range over UHF based systems like PMR446 and KDR444.

Spectrum allocation, including 5 kHz guard band: 30.925 MHz to 31.375 MHz

Voice communications VHF low band 30 MHz band 31 MHz band using 11K0F3E, 11K2F3E, 11K3F3E or similar narrowband FM NFM NBFM voice emission.

This allocation 30.925 MHz - 31.375 MHz (with guard band, channel centers 30.93 MHz - 31.37 MHz) overlaps with numerous VHF low band land mobile radio (LMR) allocations worldwide, including business radio, paging systems, military VHF FM tactical radio network, the various fishing fleet radio systems including the 27.5 MHz - 39.475 MHz 25 watt FM fishery radiotelephone service and countless others.

Note the skipped 30.980 MHz, 30.990 MHz, 31.000 MHz, 31.010 MHz and 31.020 MHz frequencies.
