Shortwave Broadcast Stations, SWBC or HFBC are allocated several bands for their transmissions:

Shortwave broadcasters will often use frequencies just above or just below these frequencies as well. Frequency spacing is 5 kHz. Some frequencies, especially at/near the band edges, are used by fixed and mobile stations. The 41 meter band is shared with amateur radio use (to varying degrees depending on which ITU region you're in).
