Pirate Quebec

Pirate Quebec was a Québécois pirate active five times in 2011, likely the only shortwave pirate to ever operate from Quebec. Frequencies used were 6900, 6925, and 6950 kHz AM. The operator has an account on the HFU (username: Flibustier). He stated the station was operating from "a heavily populated area near the Quebec/Ontario border". The antenna was low so the signal was not well heard by most listeners. Programming was mostly French language music with identifications, although other programming (such as the War of the Worlds program) was also heard. The email addresses piratequebec@gmail.com (preferred) and piratequebec@yahoo.com were given, but it appears nobody ever received an eQSL.
