Anthony Radio is a shortwave pirate from Poland. It operates in the 48 meter pirate band and has just switched from C-QUAM AM stereo to Comb Stereo as of August 2022. This is because comb stereo works better with the 6 kHz AM bandwidth used by Anthony Radio. Anthony Radio is the only shortwave station in Poland. It has been operating very irregularly since 2012 but broadcasts have suddenly become more frequent in August 2022. It airs a very wide variety of music. Station identifications are done by a robot voice (one that sounds like Steven Hawking) and also feature a stereo demonstration and sometimes an email address. Reception reports sent to whiteriders@wp.pl are promptly verified with an eQSL.
