- DGPS Differential GPS stations. Located in the LW & MW band (283.5 kHz - 325 kHz) along with the NDBs.
- The Longwave Club of America specializes in longwave applications including DGPS, Part 15, NDBs and more
Amateur Radio and Experimenters
There are a few ranges where amateur radio and experimenters holds a secondary allocation and its use is strictly limited.
- 135.7 to 137.8 Khz (amateur radio)
- 160 to 190 Khz (LOWFER experimenter's band)
- 472 to 479 Khz (amateur radio)
