Radio Jong Europa is a highly active shortwave station from the Netherlands. Its current legal status is unknown. It was licensed as a private hobby station on 6175 kHz. A reply to a reception report in May 2022 claimed that it is a legal station using 500-750 watts. In June 2022 the station has been operating daily on 6130 kHz and has not appeared in the Hartvig list, likely indicating that it is now a pirate. It airs a variety of music. As a result of operating in the 49 meter broadcast band it sometimes suffers interference from other legal stations.
