The Bangalore Poacher

The Bangalore Poacher first appeared in February 2014 on 6867.4 KHz in the AM mode (it has since also used SSB). The Bangalore Poacher uses the Linconshire Poacher interval signal, and mixes a bizarre and fast-paced array of audio clips dominated by Indian-accented men and women repeating words and phrases (in English). It is possible that some of the audio clips are somehow connected to the Toronto area.

The station does not identify during broadcasts but does send out QSLs to the email addresses of DXers who report it on the HFU. The QSLs claim the station operates with 25 watts but says little else.
