WOZW

WOZW was an AM broadcast station operating on 710 KHz from northern Maine in the 1980s. WOZW and it's then sister station WOZI FM 101.9 were apparently the source of pirate station KPRC from 1982 to 1984. WOZW was owned and operated by Allan Weiner.

WOZW was later known as WREM, and operated on AM 710 from Monticello, Maine, as such, until a CP was obtained to move to round the clock operation on AM 780. WREM fell silent in early 2007 and was reborn as WCZH in the summer of 2007.
