Wack Radio QSL
Wack Radio was a shortwave pirate that was very active in the late 90s. Program material was usually music, parodies, and comedy. A unique aspect of this station was that it took calls from listeners. A number would be announced, presumably for a hacked answering machine somewhere, and the station would ask for listeners to call and leave a message. After a time, the ops would play back the messages on the air. If there was no listener response, the host of the show would berate his audience; lack of response may have been one of the reasons that this station left the pirate scene.
