Contents

United States

26/27 MHz 27MHz RC Frequencies

Transmit (TX) and receive (RX) crystals for 27 MHz RC system operating on 27.095 MHz 27095 kHz - Orange channel or "7A" in the USA.

The 26995-27255 frequencies may be used for data links, remote sensing and other niche purposes that the 72 MHz and 75 MHz frequencies may not be used for. See the HF pagers page for more information. These frequencies may suffer co-channel or adjacent-channel interference from high power CB radio transmissions.

  • 26.995 MHz - 26995 kHz - Brown or Channel 3A
  • 27.045 MHz - 27045 kHz - Red or Channel 7A
  • 27.095 MHz - 27095 kHz - Orange or Channel 11A
  • 27.145 MHz - 27145 kHz - Yellow or Channel 15A
  • 27.195 MHz - 27195 kHz - Green or Channel 19A
  • 27.255 MHz - 27255 kHz - Blue (shared with CB channel 23)

Transmitters may use 4 watts, and 25 watts on 27.255 MHz.

For more information see the HF pagers, data link and RC page.

Many wireless mice and keyboards use 27.145 MHz, some of these devices fall under Part 15.

Low power remote control devices may fall under Part 15 rules instead of Part 95. The 72MHz and 75MHz RC frequencies are shared with the mid-band VHF business radio band and the miltary's FM tactical SINCGARS system which operates in the 30-88 MHz range.
