I could not really hear the audio, only follow the drifting and jumps of the carrier.
All the new threads after 0008 ended as being from 'Not The BBC', and finally I succeeded in merging them all, without updating too wildly the subjects (a problem, as many reports don't give the frequency and/or time at top of the text).

There was already a station on 6850 approx. that just happened to close down at 0000 UTC,
but without any clue for its ID. Maybe it was already Not The BBC, maybe not. So the best thing is to leave it as a separate topic.

As I did not try to update my own report on 6850, it was easier forme to run after all the new threads in that 6850 mess. Even, most of the time I was quietly listening to 6960 !

I know that it is not easy, especially if you were not able to actually hear it and thus are not sure of exactly what happened and when. I've read some of these mish-mash threads after the fact and I can't make heads or tails of them.

Noting the similarity in signal characteristics to Locomotive Radio yesterday.

I don’t think there are any. I couldn’t find single KiwiSDR yesterday with a good signal from Locomotive Radio (a carrier was audible on many but no audio). Not The BBC was S9+20 on the K3FEF KiwiSDR.

Last night I took a break from moderating the posts in real time with the intention of reviewing this morning. Sometimes I really enjoy just kicking back, listening and posting. I followed and recorded the last 3 of 4 separate broadcasts of "Not The BBC" as follows:
0008-0010 UTC on 6850.1 AM
0014-0022 UTC on 6849.6 AM
0023-0031 UTC on 6850.1 AM
0032-0038 UTC on 6849.6 AM

It seems as if the op was switching crystals from show to show? Difficult to tell without seeing a waterfall of the entire period! Anyway.....any chance of a "Not The BBC" eQSL?
