Look for Ball Smacker Radio most Friday nights at 9-10:30 PM EDT (0100 UTC) on 6960KHz AM.  Reception report e-mails that identify our special theme for the broadcast will receive a special eQSL.  On-line stream of broadcast at http://BallSmacker.net   Another show on the new Vertical antenna.  Results were mixed from last week.

Planning a new special, experimental, perfect frequency, DSP processed eSSB wideband (6k) USB encore broadcast on Saturday 10/8 at 9PM EDT (0100 UTC 9 Oct) around 6960 (if the frequency is not in use).

That's your frequency, run 'em over and let 'em bitch. After all, this is pirate radio. Dr. Tornado used to run over numbers stations. Jimmy The Weasel ran over both pirates and hams. He was in a nuthouse and ham radio was part of his therapy. The FCC couldn't touch him, he was covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Jimmy had a fine singing voice. I'm sure someone has a recording of his greatest hits. The guys on the 40 meter nets loved him like a son.

We were forced to postpone the experiment due to last minute technical issues but the plan is that we will try again Tuesday night at 9PM EDT.  This will be an encore of last Friday night's (10/7) show.  eQSLs will be issued to those who email ballsmacker@protonmail.com.  Please point out you heard us on SSB.  We'd love any reports, positive or negative, on this new mode.  Look around if the frequency is in use because we are agile in this mode.  I.S. should start at 8:58 and the RX team will attempt to stream it, as received over the air, on Ballsmacker.net as well.  Not sure whether they can wideband the USB but they are going to try.  Remember this setup is still in beta so playback issues (skips, gaps, distortion) may occur but our focus/priority this time is on peak power and modulation width.   (and figuring out what arcs above 1500W)

Thanks for all of your reports, posts and donations...we do this because you show you listen!  We have big plans...
