US Navy RTTY 6945.100 kHz USB FSK 23:30 UTC 19 OCT 2022

23:50 UTC - Receiving a UNID RTTY station in FSK mode, 6947.0 kHz (CF) / 6945.100 kHz USB (dial), good readable (S9+) into North Eastern Canada, mark:1445, shift:850. It is most likely encrypted and I have not been able to get any sync on this one. I have previously occasionally heard RTTY stations come up on this segment of the band. None the less, it is somewhat irregular as I also general monitor this segment of the band for the North American pirate radio station operators and UTEs are infrequent.

Update: This is IDed as 6947 kHz (CF) and is 50bd/850Hz secure FSK and confirmed by TDoA to be US Navy, Davidsonville, MD (thank you to Mike Chace-Ortiz at UDXF).

03:00 UTC 20 OCT 2022 - The station is still loud and clear, (S9).
