Radio 48 4185 USB 0605 UTC 20 NOV 2022
« on: November 20, 2022, 0606 UTC »
Audio from a Beavis and Butt-head cartoon, about SIO 222.
0607 music, signal's already faded to just above the noise.
0609 back up to about SIO 111, song has YL vox but can't place it.
0611 crowd noise, OM saying (I think) "ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building"
0612 heavy music a la White Zombie but I don't think that's what it is
0615 tried out a few of the Smolinski SDR's in MD, found the 250' V beam has it best (SIO 444), electronic music with YL vox
0617 Radio 48 ID and email
0618 Star Spangled Banner sung by a cappella men's group, sounding Motown-like
0619 bell rings, "The night calls, it's time for you to (unintelligible)" repeated
0622 hip hop tune
0625 the same song is still on but I'm going to bed. Thanks for the show!

I must have gotten here at exactly the same time as the above poster.  Sonny and Cher "I Got You Babe" with annoying running commentary from B&BH.
Some mixed announcements segues and on to a pop-ish synth tune I don't recognize.  S9 in USB mode so not X.  Location here is Central Ohio.  Receiver is a newly aquired Icom IC-R8600 using the Rf Systems DX-10 pro active antenna on the garage roof.

Current time, 06:15 11/20/22 UTC.  While attempting to find the song via Soundhound, a second station seems to have fired up underneath?

ID as Radio 48.  Mail to Radio48@Protonmail

Star Spangled Banner @ 06:18

DeepBlue,
out.

Update: ID as Radio KMD?  06:45.  Not my style of music so changing freq.
