Thazin Radio 7345 K @ 1222 Z 23 Feb 23
« on: February 23, 2023, 1656 UTC »
0400 CST local: Lost all power here in SE Wisconsin due to massive ice storm power failure. With no lights and the basement Shack blacked  out I grabbed a candle and my Tecsun PL330 / whip and around 0545 cst local (1145Z) started an ETM scan on the main floor as that had the most ambient light.  The 330's ETM scan rocked 84 hits, at least 54 of them easily decipherable. The one that really elated me was Thazin Radio out of Myanmar (a 1st for me) @ 1222Z with song by YL soprano/falsetto. Only interference was CNR7 weakly underneath with a OM Cantonese narrative.
Thazin QRT'd @ 12:30 but CNR7 kept broadcasting, now stronger.

THAZIN SINPO: 32333
TARGET: SE Asia
TX:  Naypyidaw, Myamar

Apologies for the late post - Snowblowing and ice chopping took precedence.
