Yeah, Radio True North here just above the S = 8 noise, 6925 AM as follows:

0330 - "Hot Buttered Popcorn"
0334 - Unintelligible announcement thanks to mucho static etc. on top of more static crashes!
0335 - "Long Cool Woman" by the Hollies
0338 - unk. song
0342 - Radio True North live anncd. ID, email addy, etc.
0343 - another unknown song, unk. to me anyhow
0346 - Quick annc. "tnx for report"
0347 - "My Generation" the Who single (I think)

And so forth....Coming in better as the band is quieting, just in time for some (ugh) 1980's  stuff, now S = 8 and the noise has subsided to a manageable S = 5!  C'mon, forget about this 1980's thing, jeez.....

Seriously, great audio, now, without so much  noise, and...thanks for the show, sir!  Heard here on the TS-850 at first, now via the R-390A, switching between the 4 & 8 kcs filters, and running the line audio through an old stereo amp & Advent speakers (the smaller plastic cabinet ones, big for bookshelf speakers but still sound very good) and you sound like AM DX from Nevada here in the flatlands of California.  Not too shabby!

EDIT:  THANKS for the shout-out & the Janis!  Wow, I sure wish I still had my old double-LP bootleg by her, it was on day-glo yellow vinyl and musta been a soundboard recording, rare to have found such high fidelity boots back then (the 1970's)!   My friend Kerry Morr**** "borrowed" it, and you can guess the rest!  I just have a prejudice against the 1980's mainstream stiff, I guess...Mrs. White, however, loves stuff from back then (she is fifteen years younger than me, heh heh heh) and sez that I need to "shut the <blank> up" because she is trying to groove to your program....thanks again, just now you hit S = 9 + here!

EDIT EDIT:  Thanks from Mrs. White & me too for "Love Hurts"!   She reminds me of the eyebrows she raised when, as a first-grader at a Lutheran school in Anchorage, she opted to sing her then-favorite song karaoke-style for her class, that song being "Angel In The Centerfold" !  Oh boy!  When we were dating and she first told me about this, I realized immediately that I had a "Tiger By The Tail!"  The rest, as they say....BTW, still hovering around S = 9, occasional QSB, no more static crashes!

EDIT EDIT EDIT:   WOW!  You are too too cool, RTN!   Thank you thank you thank you!

0416: Starting to hear some music, difficult to hear much audio under the static
0813: Off

Mostly an S7 to S8 signal, but heavy static made reception difficult other than at the beginning of the show.

There's a bit of confusion regarding 6924/6925.  I chatted with RTN, and I think this is what happened:

RTN was on 6924.6 from 0247 to 0306z with one transmitter.
A second station came on 6924.1 at 0312z.
RTN came on 6924.94 around 0328z.
The second station went off the air sometime in the 0328 to 0330z period.
