Strong Dasher - interesting signal LATE post
« on: August 08, 2009, 1423 UTC »
7-26-09   1715UTC    11004.68 in cw 400 Hz and 11006.06 in USB 2.2 Khz mode
Strong Dasher with Fading S-1 to S-7
Hearing “raspy” by products when listening in wider IF position.
Almost like its being modulated by a varying frequency tone.
Interesting signal
Is this a pirate or some form of data transmission- ????
TS870 65 ft wire
Central Florida
136' random wire for general HF,
Winradio Excalibur G31 & Kenwood TS-590

Peace!

Thats a Navy signal...
Dial down to 11002.6 and your Hear CO
often on the east coast...it is a day time only beacon
running on a solar panel with no battery.
