Swamp Fox Net (preppers) 7000 LSB 0004 UTC 20 NOV 2024
« on: November 20, 2024, 0027 UTC »
Strong signals at the Raleigh, NC KiwiSDR. Net control running a Xiegu G90, another running a Yaesu. At first testing out different power levels from 1 to 12 watts. Call signs are RC1 through RC6. Giving signal reports like LC1. Gave details on one guys antenna, a homebrew random wire. Used a whole bunch of codes: “The dog has been fed, break”, “The packs are on the bird, over”, “The chair is by the door, break”, “Seven military age males heading north, over” and others. Receiving station read them back to the sender. Used an authentication code of B67AY9. They hear the Peskies in the background. Going to test some new baluns and antennas tomorrow, should be more prepared. One guy gave his QTH as Lexington South Carolina. Closed the net at 0030 UTC. Gave a name of the net but I didn’t copy it.

Going over my recording, there are several "Swamp Fox Net" IDs.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

Yeah, it could be. I went back over my recording and it sounds kind of different each time to me.
