Pop Shop Radio JAMMED by SSB 3955 AM 1703 UTC 01 JAN 2025

on 3955, mess of 2 stations at 1703 :
- Pop Shop Radio in AM, with pops, often giving ID
- UNID on 3955 SSB with jazz and alike, was USB, now LSB
1717 SSB jazz back to USB 1719 back to LSB : that's JAMMING !
>>> alternating between USB and LSB every 2 minutes or so
Pop Shop is not a specially good programme, and the jammer not a bad one, not even distorted (as far as I can hear),
but alternating on LSB and USB is significant of jamming.
>>> Try this on a Kiwi SDR : using SAM mode in stereo mode, astonishing audio effect in the headphones!

1747 the jammer has faded down on the KiwiSDR I am using just now, (probably worse elsewhere)

late addendum :
1820 same jamming, quite audible on SDR in the Alps

(later : see the Radio DARC topic)

Someone in the pirate chat noted similar interference on Channel 292's 6070 frequency during the day. They noted SSB interference playing jazz music. I checked 6070 and the QRM wasn't strong but it was there in the background. I can't recall what time it was, except early afternoon
