From the Gulch - Which I am fairly certain is in Michigan near Great Lakes - is strong. Sounds like David Byrne/Talking Heads. 2309z  Can't see a S, but sounds strong.

Found the source for these screenshots....

   On November 22, 1987, an unknown hacker in Chicago broadcast a pirate signal that overrode the CBS station (WGN), and then the PBS one (WTTW). The hacker, who dressed up like Max Headroom, was never caught.

Also... It seems there is a link between Max and Bryne - Max interviewed him in season 2 episode 6

S4 here and kind of noisy, missed the first SSTV and was late on the second one.  Playing lots of David Byrne/Talking Heads songs.
Thanks for the cool show!

@DimBulb, WGN-TV was never a CBS station. It started out Dumont in the late 1940's, then was independent, then was WB, and now is independent again. Now that it's digital on RF ch 19, 9.1 (1080i) is independent, 9.2 (480i) is antenna-tv and on 1 Nov 2013 this-tv moved from 26.5 to 9.3 (480i). BTW, WGN-AM720 was a mutual radio stn many years ago.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com

@DimBulb, WGN-TV was never a CBS station...

OK, was just going by the YouTube comments, not a good source I suppose.  No doubt he got it from the WGN wiki entry says  "Early on, WGN-TV was affiliated with CBS and the DuMont Television Network".
