Fair reception with fading and noise via the Poland, New York, SDR ...
1804 UTC: Synthetic YL voice talking about why Canada is wonderful. "We have poutine ... and poutine," then Anne Murray's "Snowbird."
1806 UTC: Synth YL voice again talking and Canada and Canadians again, then "Ahead By A Century" by The Tragically Hip.
1810 UTC: Synth YL voice talking about how cold Canada is and more into "This Beat Goes On/Switchin' to Glide" by The Kings. Audio's really struggling to stay above the noise as of 1815 UTC.
1816 UTC: Signal, both visually on the SDR screen and audibly, strengthened a bit for a moment or two.
1816 UTC: ID, I think, then "Take Off" by Bob & Doug McKenzie feat. Geddy Lee.
1818 UTC: "The Analog Kid" by Rush. Now listening via the Russell, Ontario, SDR, which has a S5-S7 signal.
1822 UTC: YL voice: "This is CQEW from the Great White North," then off.
I'm generally a fan of Canada. Among many other things, it's easy to find delicious Mars Bars there, unlike here in the U.S. I never stock up enough when we visit nearby British Columbia! Thanks for the broadcast, CQEW!
