Well, I hope that WIPE, doesn't wipe anyone out on HF. I know that we've hit this subject before, but here's an update.
“I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy
is like a very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he
meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is
exactly the same, except that there is no cat.”
-Attributed to Albert Einstein, but I ripped it from the latest Splatter .PDF March 2025 issue.

We can all hope that they don't WIPE out the bands with harmful interference.  (Get it? ;D )

Quote
DPA Mac representatives met again with members of the FCC’s Office of International Affairs and the Office of General Counsel almost a year later. A summary of the meeting by DPA Mac’s legal representative stated “the proposed HF station would transmit Voice of America audio and real-time ticket feeds of stock market information to anyone in Europe and many nations of Asia that has access to a standard, off-the-shelf DRM radio receiver.”

I'm going to say that the plan for content may have to be modified.  ;D

I don't STRETCH the truth.
