S6ish signal being received from the Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR, but lots of noise and fading ...

2326 UTC: "Stormy Side of Town" by Stan Ridgway.
2330 UTC: "The Big Heat" by Stan Ridgway. Now listening via the Shrewsbury, Vermont, SDR, which has an S7 signal and slightly better audio amid the noise and fading.
2335 UTC: OM talking?

Now getting an S9 signal from the Vermont SDR, but the noise and fading on 6950 AM also is rising ...

High band noise makes it hard as of 2334 UTC but best signal at na5b in VA and at Vermont SDR

0013 Band is really bad tonight. S7 but not a hint of audio.
All reports given are direct from my station in NYC.
Main toys are a Flex 3000 SDR, Icom 756 Pro II and other assorted odds & ends.

035- Definitely hearing music, but QRN and QRM make signal very tricky to copy here.
All reception direct-- From my location, radio and antenna.
QTH New Hampshire (70 miles north of Boston).
Tecsun S-8800 and Kenwood R-2000, with about 135 feet of wire thrown up in the trees.
