Comrades, it appears a clip of an unknown/mysterious broadcast is making the rounds again on youtube.

Linked here is the original recording of said UNID station: https://www.reddit.com/r/TerrifyingAsFuck/comments/w11thm/this_is_the_audio_of_a_supposed_radio_broadcast/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

A huge youtuber (Nexpo) recently featured this in his latest video. Now, since the vast majority of his audience are, no offense to them, clueless when it comes to radio and how it works, I figured I'd link it here to an audience more familiar with radio.

My theory? It's one of those syndicated religious call-in shows this guy picked up via skywave at night. Boy, if they think this is creepy, wait until they hear an old Bro. Scare chanting and wailing clip!

Kind of too bad that the FREQ, or station, wasn't mentioned from where that originated from. Unless, I'm missing something.
“I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy
is like a very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he
meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is
exactly the same, except that there is no cat.”

They need to hear some of the airchecks of the original WHYP and it's late owner, James Brownyard, if they want weird.

Or KJES.

Not very clear and pretty choppy.

But it sounds like a kid under emotional stress.

Very odd.
