Not to worry.  There is a glitch in my host's billing department...

oh wait, that's putting it too politely.
There's a major f00kup in my host's billing department.  They had to shut down a bunch of nonpaying accounts, and shut us down by mistake as well-- when the Control Panel itself says there's no payment due until 2016.

Too bad, I haven't had a single complaint about them-- until now.  I'm getting pretty pissed.

It'll either be resolved by Thursday, or we'll be moving on Thursday!
Luckily  I did a full backup last night

Yes, it's back.  I'm happy about that... but not about the rest.

They fixed it (after how many hours?!),
but communicated nothing.  Not so much as a
"sorry about that" when the situation was entirely their fault.

Wait, scratch that.  

It was NOT a mistake, they actually INTENDED to screw over a whole class of their customers who were NOT, in fact, "overdue" on payments!  And that without any warning whatsoever, until too many of them raised hell, apparently.  

We are working on a move.

If I can get the wagon train out of Donner Pass Hosting, you can bet I'll have something more to say about them afterwards...
