I caught WW 4078.25  100mw into a center loaded mobile whip
on the Global Tuners last night making it into the State of Connecticut.

WW is the most Challenging of the 4 Mc beacons east of the Rockies.

We're working on it!

Local conditions have been such that there was only one day of 5MHz WWV in two weeks! :o

Peace!

Getting WW now at 1100z, along with MO and OK.

Also the 4089 ditter, two of the 4096 dashers, and it looks like KX, but difficult to tell, that one is weak. But the freq is correct.

Hey, and W also.

Pretty nice reception this morning, the Sun is just rising now.

Chris,
That is sign that you antenna is a good one no doubt...
I need to make one like you have...my antennas aren't much
to brag about...

When one thinks about it...100MW perhaps going into the mobile whip with no top hat
on that Freq. it is amazing...

I will be making a QSL this winter for WW and UFO...got the UFO one done for you
just need ink for the printer and I'll shoot UFO to you...

I've been very pleased with the 132 ft T2FD, so much so that it is all I really use now.

I'm working on a larger version (400 ft or so) for MW use this winter. Still a lot of site prep work (killing brush and brambles) to do first. There are some mechanical issues to sort out as well.

Loved the essay.
