Numbers Station 6925 USB 0004 UTC 10 SEP 2025
« on: September 10, 2025, 0004 UTC »
0004: numbers by YL in EE
0005: YL mentioning something about special programming, ? maybe SSTV ? could not make out exact wording, then numbers continued, including logarithm mentions

0014: "6 9 6 9" - HEY, lady! this isn't that kind of broadcast! This is a family radio band!
0017: "stay tuned" for SSTV at end of broadcast, then "log logarithm log"

0028: SSTV ScottieDX format

Then it seems to be off the air. Don't know if it is from the numbers station but there was some kind of digital  data after this, which I don't know how to decode.

Thank you for the numbers! It's been days since I've heard such a thing.

S7ish signal via the Lodi, New York, SDR with decent audio over the noise on the frequency ...

0009 UTC: Woman reading five-number sequences, just like previous appearances of this numbers station, including about 24 hours ago.
0016 UTC: Another female voice said to stay tuned for a special SSTV transmission at the end of the broadcast. Then the usual female voice interrupted the number sequences to say "repeat ... logarithm, log, logarithm, log ... count" before returning to five-number sequences.
0024 UTC: Recitation of the number sequences continues.
0028 UTC: Final words: "End, logarithm, log ... logarithm, log," then the SSTV transmission began.
0032 UTC: SSTV transmission ended and off. My decode came out wonky, but it doesn't look like the SSTV included any ID.

Very good reception....previously referenced as Quaalude Numbers  ;D

0019 YL with breathy numbers
Sort of reminds me of the old BBC Football score reads
"Millwall 3 Sheffield Wednesday 4
Newcastle 2 Birmingham 1
Brighton 0 Hull City 0
Sheffield United 3 Bolton 1". It would go on for maybe fifteen minutes reading the entire Football Association results on a Saturday.
0028 "Logarithm Log, Logarithm Log" SSTV

The SSTV is obviously a depiction of the number of Weird Broadcasts on 43m with the y-axis being June 1, 2025. ;)
