S5 to S7 signal with good audio heard via the SDR in Fork Union, Virginia, with frequent fading and moderate background noise overall ...

UTC: "Old Camp Meeting Time" by Grandpa Jones.
UTC: "Wildwood Flower" by The Carter Family.
UTC: "Bury Me Under the Weeping Willow" by The Carter Family.
UTC: Male-voiced ID: "Radio Appalachia. You're listening to Radio Appalachia," with repeated IDs after that.
UTC: "Orange Blossom Special" by Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys. Fading on this signal's getting worse at times.
UTC: Dr. Ralph Stanley introducing Jack Cooke at a live performance, then "Sittin' on Top of the World" by Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys.
UTC: "Pretty Girls, City Lights" by Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys.
UTC: Dr. Ralph Stanley talking again between songs, introducing his father on stage.
UTC: "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Ralph Stanley.
UTC: "Oh, Death" by Ralph Stanley. Getting some interference from peskies bleeding in.
UTC: Several Radio Appalachia IDs again, calling it "The Free Voice of the Ohio Valley."
UTC: "Will the Circle be Unbroken" by June Carter Cash. (Quakers like me know this lovely tune as one of the "unofficial" hymns of our faith, though unprogrammed Quakers really sing during our actual meetings.)

I've got to go pick up our groceries, but thanks for the bluegrass music this evening, Radio Appalachia. Always good to hear your station!
