0334: Op gave station id and said he was broadcasting on 6970. I show him lower. Very weak signal.
0348: No usable decode of the SSTV. The signal is in and out of the noise (mostly in). Lost it now.

3:38 UTC myteaquinn: I use the same announcement audio file every time so 6970 kHz is a mistake from the weak signal

4:30 UTC
Treehouse SWL: The SSTV was the cover of an old book called "The Chicken Pox Panic" by Beverly Lewis. I meant to use it to talk about a movie I tried to make it into in late 2005/early 2006 but I hadn't recorded that part yet. The song that sounded like an old commercial was "Crash and Die" from Drawn Together

myteaquinn: It's okay, I'm not upset. I just wanted to clear that up so people don't accidentally think that I'm using a new frequency

I'm sorry if that sounded like a complaint. I'm not sure how accurate my receiver is and just wanted to point out what was said during the station id and what I was showing here.

S7 to S9 signal with fair audio through the noise heard via the SDR in Presque Isle, Wisconsin. I also can see the signal on the waterfall but hear no audio out west at the Northern Utah SDR ...

0415 UTC: "Happy Days" theme song.
0416 UTC: Sounded like a vintage commercial song.
0417 UTC: Male announcer with ID and frequency announcement, then an SSTV transmission. The image seemed to be an old children's book (the Arthur series, maybe?) illustration that said "The Chickenpox Panic" as the title. Tonight's noise on the band made the image fuzzy, of course.
0422 UTC: ID and frequency announcement again, then "4 Chord Song" by Axis of Awesome.
