Eccentric Shortwave SSTV to Mermaid Radio
« on: September 30, 2009, 0608 UTC »
Per e-mail confirmation from Eccentric Shortwave operator, these images were shout-outs from Eccentric Shortwave to Mermaid Radio.

9/30/09
6925 USB
0528z: SSTV, Scottie 2 mode.  Partial copy, "Hello Mermaid" in red letters against blue background at bottom.

0533z: Same image as 0528z, better copy this time.  The red text is a little scrambled and loses saturation due to JPEG compression.

(Gopher Stomp, TX - Palstar R30C w/ indoor antenna)

Here's a copy of the original image as sent by Eccentric Shortwave.  Note: This was received via e-mail, not SSTV received over the air.

0611z: Hmm... this looks awfully familiar.  Heavy intermittent local RFI wiped out part of it tho'.
