Akashvani QSL - 28 OCT
« on: December 06, 2025, 1611 UTC »
Maybe the quickest turn around from the subcontinent to date, 39 days as I sent a reception report on one of the first days of the B25 season for the winter frequency of 11900 (which booms in here).  Front of QSL is a war scene from inside a rock shelter, other ops might send a rock scene from inside a war shelter.  ;)

Tecsun H501x (broadcast received on this unless noted), Zenith T/O G500, Zenith T/O Royal 7000, Emerson AR-176, Zenith 8S154, T/O 7G605 (Bomber), Tecsun PL-600, Tecsun PL-880, Zenith 5S320, Realistic DX 160 using 40 feet of copper wire.  With apologies to Senator Gramm for his thoughts on firearms, "I have more radios than I need but not as many as I want."

That's very cool...
If I may, what does a reception report look like for these types of stations?
What criteria do the expect?
eQSL Welcomed and Appreciated.

Here's my emailed reception report verbatim (music ID via Shazam):

Hello -

I received your broadcast on October 28, 2025 on 11900 from 1910-1935 utc.  Reception was excellent on the B25 season frequency.  My radio is a Tecsun H-501x using forty feet of copper wire as an antenna.  My home is in a rural area of the northeast of the United States 15 miles off the coast.  The music program was quite pleasant.

I heard:

1910 Man talking (maybe Arabic?)
1912 "Yeh Mera Prem Patra" Mohammed Rafi
1916 Man speaks
1918 "Tu Mere Sapnon Rani Banegi" Mohammed Rafi
1924 "Mere Mehboob Tujhe Meri Muhabbat" Lata Mangeshkar
1927 "Khai Hai Re Ham Ne Qasam" Lata Mangeshkar
1930 Woman speaks, Interval Signal
1932 Woman speaks
1933 "Hare Ram Hare Krishna" Suresh Wadkar & Lalitya Munshaw

Thank you for continuing your delightful music program.
