6060 kHz USB Spanish - Fishermen? UNID Comms 1845 UTC 21 March 2026
« on: March 21, 2026, 1849 UTC »
Receiver location: Wessex UK - South West UK.  G8JNJ SDR "Flydog SDR".  Receive tune in time:  1845 UTC 1845z 6:45 PM local time GMT time.  18:45 GMT.

6060 kHz USB 6.060 MHz USB 6060kHz USB 6,060 USB 6.060MHz USB.  This reminds me of the 6090 kHz and 6095 kHz frequencies used by The Angry Bastahds (New England fishermen on the 49 meter shortwave broadcast band).  Their radios' frequency display almost certainly shows it as 6060.0 or 6060.0 USB or 6.060.0 USB or something along those lines.  Pretty easy to remember frequency, they're also "hiding" in between strong shortwave broadcast signals on 6055 kHz AM 6.055 MHz AM and 6070 kHz AM 6.070 MHz AM.
