I can hear bits of music in AM mode and the carrier has a beat to it... perhaps would be about S2-4 here in eastern California.  This via my bedroom RadioShack DX-394 rx. and a 6m long end-fed sloper-wire and also an MFJ-941C tuner employed as a preselector.  I was just casually tuning around and caught a signal on 6966 kHz at about 0445UT 01 Sept... I thought maybe there would be some pir8 up in the Black Rock Desert this local evening - I only hear this one...  MB

Try tuning this in USB mode. Their frequency is DEAD ON and you may be able to pick it up better. That's what I'm doing.
